2025 was a busy and positive year for the Centre, with many improvements made to better support our groups and the wider village community.
Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Fund, we completed several important building upgrades. All the windows were replaced, new boilers were installed, and new shutters were fitted, making the Centre more comfortable, energy efficient, and secure.
We also refurbished the downstairs ladies’ toilets and added an extra cubicle upstairs. A huge thank you to Tony Dandy for all his hard work in completing the toilet refurbishments.
Alongside these improvements, we hosted some fantastic community events. Our second Music Day took place over the summer and was a great success — and this year it’s set to be even bigger and better. We also held a Halloween party for the younger members of our community, which was great fun and very well attended.
Looking ahead to 2026, we have lots of exciting plans to continue improving the Centre and making it an even better place for all our group users and for everyone in the village.
Finally, a big thank you to everyone who helped, supported, and took part in Centre activities throughout the year — your support means so much to us.
